Sowell brings over 20 years of experience in leading efficient and high-quality operations within various organizations, most recently serving as the Florida Secretary of Commerce and CEO of Enterprise Florida, Inc.

His professional experience includes facilitating state government organizations in administering and developing economic development programs, services, and projects. Sowell now serves as Indelible’s President of Business Solutions where he leads the company’s business operations, and financials, and ensures efficient production and services.

Sowell’s expertise and knowledge have led him to previous distinguished positions such as being appointed to the Indiana State Board of Health Facility Administrators by Indiana’s Governor Mike Pence, Economic Advisory Committee member to Governor-elect Ron DeSantis, Port Tampa Bay Chief of Staff, and special assistant to the University of Florida’s President.

Sowell is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom Afghanistan. He was a Private First Class in the United States Marine Corps and was later commissioned to complete his time in the Marines as a Captain. He currently serves in the United States Navy Reserve. He is a life member of Leadership Florida, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Legion. In 2023, Florida Trend designated him as one of the 500 most influential business leaders in the state of Florida.
